What type of touchscreen we use for industrial application?

There are several types of touchscreens that are commonly used in industrial applications, including:


1.Resistive touchscreens: These are made of two flexible layers that are separated by a thin gap and can detect touch pressure from a stylus or finger. They are durable and can be used even with gloves, but can be less responsive and less accurate than other types of touchscreens.


2.Capacitive touchscreens: These rely on the electrical properties of the human body to detect touch, and are typically more responsive and accurate than resistive touchscreens. However, they may not work with gloves or other objects that do not conduct electricity.


3.Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) touchscreens: These use high-frequency sound waves to detect touch and are known for their high durability and accuracy. They are often used in applications that require a high level of performance, such as medical equipment and military systems.


4.Infrared touchscreens: These use an array of infrared sensors to detect touch and are known for their high durability and resistance to dust and liquids. They are often used in outdoor or harsh environments.


Projected Capacitive touchscreens (PCAP): These are based on capacitive technology, but use a more advanced design that allows for multi-touch capabilities and high accuracy. They are commonly used in industrial settings due to their durability, responsiveness, and accuracy.
